The Buildout: FTS Expansion Update

We’re thrilled to bring you an update on our ongoing expansion journey at FTS American Manufacturing. For those joining us recently, we’ve acquired a new facility in Mesa, Arizona, as part of our strategic growth plan. Here’s a snapshot of where we stand:

1. Engineering Milestones: Our team has successfully navigated the intricacies of engineering and secured all necessary permits to commence construction.

2. Construction Progress: As of now, significant progress has been made in framing, electrical work, and HVAC installation. Notably, our focus on ensuring the HVAC system can efficiently manage the HEPA filters in the new cleanroom reflects our commitment to the higest standards.

3. Facility Overview: The new 6000 sqft. facility is meticulously designed to optimize functionality. Key features include dedicated spaces for watch and movement production, a separate area for Ridge wallet production, offices for administrative functions, storage warehouses, a machine room, and a versatile flex space at the front.

4. Technical Challenges: One of the major technical challenges we’ve overcome pertains to delivering compressed air to multiple workstations while maintaining a serene working environment. Our solution involved creating an isolated and insulated room for air compressors and strategically routing air lines through the ceiling to key operational areas to power our pneumatic machines.

This expansion is not just about physical space; it represents our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the American watchmaking and manufacturing sector.

We’re excited to announce that we’re on track to inaugurate the facility in June 2024, welcoming you all to witness our capabilities firsthand. Your continued support means the world to us, and we look forward to sharing more updates as we progress.

Thank you for being part of the FTS community.

Warm regards,

The FTS American Manufacturing Team
